The Gibraltar Classical Music Society opens it 2025/2026 season with a spellbinding
evening as Tenor Nicholas Martin returns to the Gibraltarian stage after 25 years
with internationally acclaimed pianist Lora Dimitrova and unite for an unforgettable
recital of Argentinian Tangos, Latin American and Spanish songs.
Drawing inspiration from his coastal roots, Nicholas Martin’s hauntingly expressive
voice carries the azure skies and resonant echoes of the sea. They present a
heartfelt collection of romantic songs inspired by pivotal moments from Nicholas’ life.
With a voice that shifts effortlessly from delicate intimacy to soaring power, Nicholas
leads audiences into a world of longing, passion, and timeless storytelling, blending
raw honesty with profound emotion.
This concert promises to be a meeting of two exceptional artists whose musical

The Gibraltar Classical Music Society: Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana Following two resounding performances of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana in the World War Two Tunnels’ newly transformed Spitfire Hall, the Gibraltar Classical Music Society has once again affirmed its commitment to delivering ambitious, high-calibre concerts rarely seen on the Rock.

This was the first in our new "Recital Series" featuring the Duo Atlantida.
The Piano and viola Duet performed music by Schubert, Glazunov and Manuel de Falla. It was a wonderful exposition of the warmth and versatility of the Viola, a sometimes overlooked member of the string family, usually overshadowed by its smaller in size cousin, the Violin.
Our directors came into their own showcasing some
Carols by Candlelight showcased an array of popular traditional Christmas Carols with a mix of contemporary medleys performed by Harmonics and InCantus choirs and guests Prior Park School Choir. The Gibraltar Classical Music Society promises a magical evening by candlelight to start off the Christmas season in warm festive spirits.
